let's just recap sub groups sub group II allows the substitute of chord II for chord IV in the key of G major that's Am7 for C maj7 or Cmaj7 for Am7 or Am for C or C for Am example ||G / / / | C / D / || G is I in G Major C is chord IV D is chord V || G / / / | C / D / || becomes || G / / / | Am / D / || brilliant isn't it . Don't forget to support the melody line. sub group I allowed you to exchange G for Bm or Em with these permutations ||G / / / | C / D / || ||Bm / / / | C / D / || ||Em / / / | C / D / || now these are possible ||G / / / | Am / D / || ||Bm / / / | Am / D / || ||Em / / / | Am / D / || there's more..................... sub group III, next month.
